Security officer Xerxes Vizcaino has helped keep Poly safe since 2008. In 2017, he moved from the Dyker campus to Park Slope. In 2023, he was named Interim Assistant Director of Security. A lifelong Brooklynite, Xerxes says getting to know everyone is the best part of his role. By doing so, he says, it “creates trust and builds support—and that’s always a good thing when it comes to school safety.”
